I got it in my head the other morning to try to do angel food cake - who doesn't love angel food cake? I'd eat it for breakfast any day, and in waffle form, no one questions it!

What do waffle irons need most in the world? OIL. What are angel food cakes notoriously free of? OIL.
Alas. It was not to be. Doh! I should've know it wouldn't work. Just a little bit of brain power would've saved me for disaster.
So I gave up and make Cars shaped cakes for breakfast.
I'm still a winner in my house - I let them have cake for breakfast.
If anyone knows a way to make waffle iron angel food cake work let me know! For now I'll just count it as a total fail and a lesson learned.!
