Personalize your iPad/tablet case!

I was lucky enough to be gifted an iPad (!) recently, and received it right before I left on a trip.  I knew I didn't want to travel with it unprotected, so I did a last minute run to get a case for it.

Man! Those cases are expensive. Some are even locked up - crazy!  So in the interest of time and money, I picked from a selection of cases that weren't locked up (at Target).  There really weren't many I liked, but then my husband pointed this one out:

To which I responded - Pink?? The inside is pink?!  I'm just not that girly, and besides, that color pink is just not okay. Kind of bubble gum pink, and looks strange to me.  Why would he pick that?

A blank canvas it is.

I got my set of cheapo permanent markers in multiple colors, and enjoyed a day of coloring between and inside the lines.  It was therapeutic.

And it looks so much more like me now.

Any idea what I should do with the white petal parts?  

I haven't quite decided how I like the back flowers to look yet - I work on them off and on.

It's a great way to make something your own when nothing quite suits you.  Props to my husband for the fantastic idea!
