August Round Up

Happy Labor Day everyone!  I hope you have the day off and can spend it doing absolutely nothing.  The blog has been quiet all weekend, since that's what I've been doing! Well, as much nothing as a mom with two preschoolers can get away with.

I thought before it got too quiet over here I'd show you everything I got done in August - I was a nice month to get back to projects around here.

I got a new serger

I made a refreshing adult drink - Watermelon Limoncello Slush

I made my first ever Dutch Baby.

I found an iPad case I could make my own.

I brought home MORE thrifted furniture, and it fit right in.

I finished off a made to order Ballet Skirt.

I made a shawl, but didn't take pictures!

We had a weekend lake house getaway.

I finished a crocheted baby blanket for a friend.

I did a recipe test on a cookbook I found -
 - Cheese Wafers

 - Avocado Hot Sauce

I made Drumstick Cake Cones.

I figured out what to do with mesh yarn - The Nautilus Shawl and tips.

And I made a couple of hats, most of them normal sized, for friends.

Ah, round ups really make you realize how much you got done.  Nice feeling.
