It has been super busy around here. I don't know how it happened - I didn't plan much this summer, but all of a sudden we are everywhere and out of control busy. Our oldest, Mr. A, turned 4 this week, so there was an impromptu party and celebrating. He's had such a good week!
Mr. C (2yo) is finishing a course of antibiotics for an ear infection, and Mr. A has swimmer's ear and a high fever from a virus, so we're treating both of those kids. This is what high fever looks like in our house (phone pic, sorry).
Whereas this is a normal day for us:

Those results were in today - I have 2 labral tears in my left hip joint. My understanding is that the labrum is what keeps the suction on the femur/hip joint, and when you tear it, bad things start happening. All I know is that it hurts. And that I didn't do anything to it - no gymnastics, running, or even remotely athletic activities around here - I sew, and I don't want to run anymore.
I have an orthopedist appointment Monday, but it's just not soon enough. It hurts to bear weight on my left leg, to sit, to, well, do anything. I have a cane to get me through. But I want crutches! Though I can't even imagine crutches and a 4 and 2 year old. Oh well - just get me better please!
So you can see what has kept me from blogging - life! I hope your weeks so far have been less eventful and much more fun.
If you get bored of waiting for me to put a project up - thanks for sticking around, and check out my tab of favorite blogs - there's so many great projects on those all the time. I love my blog friends!
Till next time,
