Oh the GUILT!!!

My goodness, I did not expect to be away for so long!

If you follow my Facebook page, or keep track of me in any other way, you didn't miss the news:

I GOT A FULL TIME JOB! (temporarily - until August 31)

To make a very long sob story short, we moved here 2 and a half years ago, right after I got my master's degree in Wildlife Biology. Right about that time, the economy nose-dived, and well, I became a stay at home mom...something I never really thought I'd do.

Over the past two years, there's been many highs and lows...but one of the best things of being "under-employed" was finding my creative side and beginning to share it with the world. This little ol' blog has been great fun for me, and I hope it continues to be!

I finally managed to secure a job with the company I've dreamed of working for. And though it's temporary, I am pouring my heart and soul into work - learning, doing, making a name for myself....making sure I won't be forgotten if something full time opens up.

Soooo...........there aren't going to be too many projects around here. There aren't going to be many excursions documented, sewing machine issues documented and fixed....but I'm still doing those things. My free time however has dropped to about 2 hours a night, and there's just not enough of a time block to make progress.

So I'll be updating my little blog as I can. And I do appreciate each and every one of you coming by!  I am keeping my Etsy shop stocked and running - I have a lot of stock to sell and money invested, so it'll be there awhile!

And a lucky couple of ladies should be getting their new sewing machines in the mail very soon - I hope you love them as much as I do! It was sad to see them go, but I'm so excited they'll see use again!  Such beautiful old machines deserve as much.

So I'll try to update with pictures at least once or twice a week as I can - but don't hold me to that. Raising two boys, running the store, and working suck up most of my energy. As I'm sure many of you know!

Thanks a lot guys for supporting me!

Jess
