This challenge has been good for me!I found that I really can get more sewing done in an hour that before.
I'm working on only a couple of things, since I"m really getting to where I don't NEED to make anything else for them.
And since I had to do a fabric store run for more rib knit, I may as well buy more fabric, right?
I picked up this novelty knit at JoAnn yesterday. I suppose it's for Halloween, but I really liked the trendiness of it and saw potential. So I made a(Nother) Flashback Tee (because I didn't have enough? no, but I love the pattern and fit!). Plus, I think I've gotten my money's worth out of the pattern!
I call it the Strongman. Between the tight fit and the mustache, that's all I see.

I made the front and back bodice pieces the same, so it has a higher neck on it.
He loves it and won't take it off. It's awesome when they take to things that you've made.
Mamma mia!
I tried to make some pants to match...but my sewing machine was acting up and I got busy fixing it.
But I did make this cute shirt for Cal yesterday -
He did not want to take photos. I had to bribe him with a cookie. This was his response:
Then his brother overheard -
Please can we have cookies???
I made the basic long sleeve raw edged raglan from Sewing For Boys.
Blue green sleeves, heather gray bodice - both jersey.
size 2/3
white rib knit for the neck band.
Ash is wearing a Flashback from the other day.
I'm calling it on KCWC - my machines are aching and in need of attention, and I"m not pushing my luck. Not that I won't be sewing tomorrow...but that I need to take some time to fix my machines right, and sew for myself! I have a Halloween costume for myself I'm itching to start.
I'm so happy I could be involved this year - Thanks for hosting Elsie!
What a cute mustache and shirt! I'm sure he'll enjoy wearing both come Halloween night ;-)
