Really random!

I'd like to begin by saying this is an absolutely random post - trying to get back into the habit of posting but without the energy to do projects means you get to see what goes on around here and how off the wall is really can be.

To start - I started physical therapy last week for my hip injury (see my Labral Tear posts). And since I haven't exercised in I don't know how long, I wanted to buy some new clothes. That's half the fun of starting a new hobby, right? The buying of the supplies? It is for me anyway. But I'm a bit of a hoarder. See my yarn overload for example. One day I will figure out how to link to old posts on my iPad, but most of you saw my collection.

Anyway...So I bought a new shirt for pt, and here's the label -
So correct me if I'm wrong, but am I being told not to eat my shirt? The thought hadn't occurred to me I guess... My practical husband pointed out there might be lead in the screen printing. Gee, thanks hubby, that's even more comforting!

On an unrelated note, we have had so much rain over the past week or so, probably a foot or so. Things are growing like mad! Look at my crepe myrtle! It got so much rain it started fruiting!
Just being silly. In the spring I bought a clearances cucumber plant and set it in the flower bed until I got to planting it, and it took off up the crepe myrtle and I had to leave it there. It is way taller than me, and a productive vine too!

All the rest of our plants have been enjoying the rain too. My sunflower grew 2 feet, my beans ants actually look healthy, and it's finally less depressing gardening. Last year our drought was just too bad and at this point all the plants were dead. I will leave you with happy plant pics, and I will see you soon!

  1. Send some of that rain this way! My garden is in a very sorry state. And, I know it will be hard, but try to keep that shirt out of your mouth ;) Glad to see you back and to hear about PT!
