Thrifted Tuesday!

I haven't gotten out much to do thrifting for a little while...we had a brief stomach bug, a husband out of town, Easter...and when I got some time to myself, I immediately went out.  Even with my killer migraine, I had a great time.

Here's my successes lately -

The Corner Entertainment Center.  I've been looking for a corner piece of furniture for a while now.  Mr. Tupelo dropped me off at Goodwill after he returned from his business trip.  I walked straight to furniture, saw this, and immediately went and bought it.  I didn't even look at anything else that trip.  :)
The $27.99 Corner entertainment center.

The cutest most awesome music box ever.  It plays "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" and the bugs/gnomes spin around.  Too bad it's missing one gnome, but maybe I'll find it one day.  I'm in love with this thing.
Music Box - $1.99
Then I found these guys in the bedding section - a yellow seersucker shower curtain (tons of fabric there, and perfect for spring and summer) and this retro gold colored fabric, about a yard of it.  I can't wait to decide what to use them for.
Fabric - $1.99 and $2.99 each.

A pillow sham that will make a great project.
Sham - $1.99
These last finds aren't for everyone...I saw these ridiculously bright floral/butterfly capris, and I knew my oldest son would LOVE to see them.  So I decided to wear them today, ignoring weird looks if that's what it takes.  The shirt was also Goodwill today.  Together, I make the perfect kindergarten teacher.  I think I need a new haircut...

Capris - $5.99, Shirt $4.99, Dog - thousands of dollars in medical treatments. Sago palm is bad news.
Anyone have any good finds?  I hope to open up a link party one day soon for thrifted items...anyone interested?

Also, I may have bought another piece of furniture.  Oops.  :/  I needed a new sewing table!  I get to pick it up after I grovel to Mr. Tupelo about why I need the truck again...  :)

Have a great one!
