So the Pinterest-found tutorial set me off...

You remember I needed lavender all of sudden the other day?  It was because of these:

These are lavender sachets that popped up on Pinterest.  I can't say I've ever had much use for scented sachets, but I liked the shape.  And so, much like when I cook, I used the tutorial as a starting point, took it, and ran.  

I changed the measurements and the technique up a bit, and decided to weight them.

So now, they are beautiful, scented, pattern weights!

What, you don't know why you need them?

a) they are adorable

b) they smell delicious

c) they hold down your pattern pieces while you cut your fabric. You don't have to pin!

Amazing, isn't it?

Since I've made my own interpretation of these, I'll put a few sets up for sale in my Etsy shop soon, after our camping trip.
