Lazy Sunday - a Goodwill find, and a hint on tomorrow's tutorial.

Hi all! So as I said in yesterday's post, I ended up and Goodwill looking for some shoes. I didn't tell you what else I happened upon:
This giant bag of yarn, in so many colors and brands and content - some part wool, some plain acrylic, some nylon, some from the US, some from the UK...oh I was like a kid on Christmas morning!  It was so bad I even had dreams about it last night.  Terrible, isn't it? But look at how much I spent on all this yarn:

What a steal!  All in all, there were 27 skeins of yarn, most of them untouched. Mostly baby friendly colors, pinks, seafoam, yellow, white/cream...whenever I find yarn at Goodwill, it's a happy day, because $9 for 27 skeins of yarn is just not something you can do at a craft store.

The funniest of the batch? The Softer than Angels Anti-Bacterial Baby/Sport Yarn. It actually says on the label that it's moth proof.  I'm wondering if even the moths won't eat it, if it's so baby safe?  The brand name cracked me up too.  Pretty sure the branding is terrible, all around.

Anyone else have any great finds this weekend?

And here's your hint for tomorrow - a goofy bird that hangs about in our trees all day. Don't worry, we'll be accessorizing him soon.

Oh, and for those of you still reading, I'm having a 40% off Etsy sale - use the code SPRINGOWLS as your coupon, but only for in store items (not custom orders - honeycomb hat and earwarmers are excluded). Have a great Sunday!
